Kari is a CCS Service Facilitator at Madison Trauma Therapy. She has a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in clinical trauma-focused care. She is a certified social worker with over 20 years of experience working in the social work field. Kari utilizes a whole person, strengths-based approach when working with clients acknowledging and understanding the sociological, environmental, and ecological factors that make us who we are. She believes in viewing clients with the mindset of “what happened to you” versus “what is wrong with you.” Kari guides clients to identify and tap into their protective factors to foster self-determination and empowerment in their recovery and improvement of their well-being.
